Vando Becheli

PG Director/Assistant Athletic Director
 

Adjalma "Vando" Becheli begins his fifth year as the National Post Grad Head Coach and is the former Utah State University Eastern Head Coach who had over 120 wins in 8 seasons. His 2009-2010 Eagles finished third in the NJCAA after winning a Region XVIII championship.

The Brazilian native played and coached professionally for 25 years in the Top League in Brazil where he also helped to develop Brazilian athletes into NBA players. Coach Vando also assisted with the 2016 Rio Olympics.

Lee DeForest

Athletic Director/Director of Operations
 

Lee DeForest begins his seventh year at FCP as the HS Director and Director of Operations. Coach DeForest has 25 years of basketball coaching experience at the DI, DII, NAIA, and JUCO levels and a recruiting network that extends nationally and internationally.

He has coached multiple Division I talents most notably Sean East who went on to star at the University of Missouri and now plays in the NBA G-League. Current former DI players include Brandon Maclin at DePaul University, Kylin Green at Houston Baptist University, and Ring Malith at SIU Edwardsville.

Richard Coleman

Richard Coleman – Strength & Conditioning Coach | Personal Trainer | Mentor

Richard Coleman has dedicated over two decades to the world of strength, conditioning, and personal development. His journey began in Atlanta, GA in 1997, where he launched his career as a personal trainer and gym owner. With a deep passion for athletic performance and human potential, Richard quickly advanced to the professional level, serving as a Strength and Conditioning Coach for the New England Patriots and the Minnesota Vikings from 1999 to 2004. Jared Dugan

Head PG Coach/Recruiting Coordinator

Jared Dugan begins his second season at FCP. He is a graduate of the University of Central Florida, where he earned a degree in Economics with a minor in Sports Management. He began his career in basketball as the Scouting Director and Recruiting Coordinator for Hoop Brothers, a high school recruiting service, where he evaluated hundreds of prep and collegiate-level prospects nationwide. He went on to expand his expertise in scouting and data analytics through roles with UCF and Stetson University, collecting in-depth statistics for a third-party analytics organization. Read More

Coach Dugan later transitioned into coaching and player development at IMPACT Academy in Las Vegas—one of the premier training grounds for elite talent. There, he served as an assistant coach for the prep/post-grad team, overseeing scheduling, recruiting, and individual player development. During his time at IMPACT, he also had the opportunity to train and collaborate with top-tier athletes from the NBA, NCAA, and international levels.

Before joining FL Coastal Prep full-time, Coach Dugan briefly worked as an advanced scout with the Indiana Fever. At FCP, he coaches our regional post grad team, leads player development and college placement, plus manages scheduling and scouting for the program.

Tyler Martin

Head Skill Development Coach

Tyler Martin, a Memphis native, begins his first year at Florida Coastal Prep as the program’s Player Development Coach. He started his basketball journey at Combine Academy, where he developed as a post-grad athlete and gained early exposure to the national prep circuit, playing for the national team with Coach DeForest. His performance at Combine earned him opportunities at the collegiate level, first at the University of Montevallo, an NCAA Division II program, and later at Stillman College, where he completed his college career. During his playing years, Martin was known for his work ethic, toughness, and attention to detail — qualities that now define his coaching approach. He brings a player-first mindset to development, with an emphasis on skill refinement, discipline, and preparing athletes for the next level, both mentally and physically.

At Florida Coastal Prep, Coach Martin is heavily involved in daily training sessions, individual development plans, and on-court instruction. He also assists in recruiting, mentorship, and creating a competitive culture rooted in accountability and growth.

Guanda “Dada” Huang

International Recruiter / Basketball Coach

Coach Dada enters his second year of coaching in the United States. A former NAIA college basketball player, he also had a semi-pro experience in China before transitioning into coaching. Coach Dada holds a Master’s degree in Sports Management from New York University and is a certified NSCA-CPT strength and conditioning coach.

Kenny Anderson

Basketball Coach/Skills Development Director
 

The Queens, NY native begins his second season at FCP after a successful run as Fisk University's head coach. A legend in the game, in 1991, the New Jersey Nets picked Anderson as number two in the NBA Draft. He played 14 years in the NBA for the Nets, Charlotte Hornets, Portland Trailblazers, Boston Celtics, Seattle Supersonics, New Orleans Hornets, Indiana Pacers, Atlanta Hawks, and the Los Angeles Clippers. He was an NBA All-Star in 1994.

Dmitry Utolin

Head Coach/Sports Performance Director
 
Coach Utolin begins his third year at FCP after serving as graduate assistant coach at Cumberland University. Before moving to the USA, Utolin played basketball professionally in CSKA Moscow (Russia). He began his college career at Cuesta JC before transferring to West Texas A&M University then finished his career at Lindsey Wilson College.
 
Coach Utolin had an outstanding collegiate career, twice named as an All-Conference player and an NAIA All-American. After college, Utolin played professionally in Russia and Spain.

Tom Bower

Tom is the co-founder of Leading Athletics & KBC Hoops as well as co-founder of the Virtus Brand. All of his endeavors focus on helping groups to reach their goals both on the court and off.

Dr. Shadia Natour

Dr. Natour is the Clinic Lead Physical Therapist at Compleat Rehab & Sports Therapy. She is also a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer.

Paul Peck

Paul Peck is the former Lindsey Wilson College Head Coach who led his teams to a 587-368 overall record in 30 seasons as a head coach. Peck was a five-time Mid-South Conference Coach of the Year and was named the 2011-12 Don Meyer NAIA Coach of the Year.
