High School Basketball Academy FAQ
What is a high school basketball academy?
A high school basketball academy is a full-time program where student-athletes in grades 9–12 train daily, compete on a national schedule, and complete accredited academics — all in one environment. Unlike traditional high school, a basketball academy structures the entire school day around athletic development and college recruiting preparation. FCP's National High School Program operates on Florida's Emerald Coast and has enrolled players from 43 states and 22 countries.
What grades does FCP's high school program accept?
FCP's National High School Program accepts student-athletes in grades 9 through 12. Players can join as early as freshman year to build a four-year development track, or transfer in as juniors and seniors to maximize recruiting exposure in their final high school years.
Is FCP's high school program NCAA-accredited?
Yes. FCP offers NCAA-approved academics through an accredited academic partner, ensuring your coursework counts toward NCAA and NAIA eligibility certification. Players graduate with a valid high school diploma and an academic profile that meets the requirements of the NCAA Eligibility Center.
How does FCP help high school players get recruited?
Every game and practice is professionally recorded and uploaded for maximum college exposure. Coaches build individual recruiting profiles and maintain direct relationships with college staffs at every level — D1, D2, D3, NAIA, and JUCO. Players compete in a national schedule that puts them in front of scouts at showcase events. FCP alumni have signed with programs in the SEC, Big East, Big Sky, Ohio Valley, Southland, and Summit League conferences.
Where is FCP's high school basketball program located?
FCP is located in Fort Walton Beach, Florida — on the Emerald Coast between Pensacola and Panama City. The program operates out of the Spartan Training Center, a 14,000 sq ft facility with professional hardwood courts, a strength and conditioning area, and film study rooms. Housing is available for players relocating from out of state or internationally.
How much does FCP's high school program cost?
Visit our tuition page for a current breakdown. FCP offers comprehensive programming — coaching, academics, film, and recruiting support — at a fraction of the cost of nationally branded academies like IMG ($70K+). Contact us to discuss your specific situation and available spots.
