What Is a Post-Grad Basketball Program?
A post-graduate (PG) basketball program is a one-year training and competition opportunity for players who have completed high school but aren't yet ready — academically, physically, or recruitingly — to play at the college level. It's the gap year that gets you the offer. Florida Coastal Prep's post-grad program has placed players at colleges across 43 states and 22 countries since 2019.

Who the Post-Grad Year Is For
Not Recruited Yet
You have the talent but college coaches haven't seen you enough. A PG year puts you in front of the right eyes at showcases, national games, and through direct coach outreach by FCP staff.
Academically Behind
Your GPA or test scores don't meet NCAA standards yet. FCP's accredited academics — including dual enrollment with Colorado Christian University — can fix that in one year.
Need Physical Development
You're not yet strong enough or skilled enough to survive college ball. A year at FCP — training with NBA-level coaches in a 14,000 sq ft facility — changes that.
Want a Better Offer
You have offers, but not at the level you want. PG years are how players go from D3 offers to D1 commitments. FCP has done it for dozens of players.
What's Included in the Post-Grad Year
Everything is under one roof. You don't piece it together — we handle the training, coaching, academics, housing, and recruiting exposure as a complete package.

Learn From People Who've Lived It
NBA All-Star Kenny Anderson — the No. 2 overall pick in the 1991 NBA Draft with 14 years of professional experience — leads FCP's skills development program. He works directly with post-grad athletes every day. That access doesn't exist at most programs.
Meet the Coaching StaffFort Walton Beach, Florida
FCP operates on Florida's Emerald Coast — one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline in the country. Student-athletes train in a world-class facility, live near the beach, and compete nationally. There's no better setting to lock in for a year and chase your next level.
