After FCP, Mariano signed with Sesi Franca and won four straight NBB championships — a tetracampeonato few young players in South American history have matched. He won the Basketball Champions League Americas and Copa Intercontinental in 2023. East's post-grad year at FCP averaged 20+ points and 8 assists per game. He went on to start 20 games as a UMass freshman, transfer to Bradley, then Missouri — where he led the SEC in scoring.
