About Ave Maria University Basketball
Ave Maria University competes in NAIA men's basketball as a member of the Sun Conference. The program is currently led by head coach Jamon Copeland. Like all NAIA programs, Ave Maria University recruits players who demonstrate high-level film, strong academics, and proven exposure at competitive events.
Getting recruited at this level requires more than raw talent — coaches need to see your film at the right moment, your eligibility paperwork must be in order, and your tournament exposure has to match the standard the program is recruiting to.
