NAIA Programs in Washington

NAIA Basketball Programs in Washington

Washington’s NAIA basketball programs compete primarily within the Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC), a Pacific Northwest NAIA league that includes both Washington and Oregon institutions. Washington CCC members include Corban University (Oregon), Eastern Oregon University, Northwest University, Oregon Tech (Oregon), Southern Oregon University (Oregon), and Warner Pacific University (Oregon), with Washington-based programs including Northwest University in Kirkland. The CCC is an active NAIA league that competes in a geographically distinct market with strong prep basketball roots in the Puget Sound region and eastern Washington.

NAIA programs can award up to 11 equivalent scholarships in men’s basketball, divided across rosters as coaching staffs determine. Actual per-player awards vary by program budget and roster composition. Washington’s NAIA programs, including Northwest University, carry faith-based missions that shape campus culture — recruits should evaluate whether that community environment aligns with their priorities alongside basketball and financial fit.

For Washington high school players who did not receive D1 or D2 offers, CCC programs offer genuine scholarship money and competitive basketball in the Pacific Northwest. The NAIA pathway in Washington keeps recruits close to home in a market where local family and community ties are often a meaningful part of the college decision. FCP recruits should assess campus culture, coaching track record, and the total financial aid package before committing, as NAIA programs vary considerably in resources and development quality even within the same conference.
