Guanda "Dada" Huang

For an international family, sending a player across the world to America is a leap of faith. Guanda “Dada” Huang’s job is to make that leap navigable — and he knows both sides of it firsthand.

A former NAIA player with semi-professional playing experience in China, Huang understands the American and international basketball landscapes from the inside. He also brings formal training to the role: a Master’s degree in Sports Management from New York University.

At FCP, Huang manages the international recruiting pipelines, helps international student-athletes settle into American basketball and academics, and walks families through the complex process of studying and playing basketball in the United States.
