Spartan Spotlight: From the Archives | FCP Top Plays

Welcome to the first episode of Spartan Spotlight, Florida Coastal Prep’s new weekly countdown of our best basketball plays. To kick things off, we went into the archives: these are classic plays from past FCP teams, our most-watched Shorts of all time, put together in one full-length highlight video so fans, families and coaches can catch them all in one place.

The all-time top 10

This archive countdown is all about finishing at the rim. Topping the list is the two-hand dunk finish from Big Shots BLACK, our most-viewed Short so far with more than 5,000 views. It’s followed by another Big Shots highlight, finishing the break with a dunk, and at #3 a transition dunk from Big Shots GOLD.

The rest of the countdown shows the style FCP teams have always played:

• Defense that creates offense: contesting the drive and securing the rebound against DME Wisconsin, and a block that turns into a fast-break finish against CHI Prep.
• Unselfish basketball: drive-and-kick passes and inside feeds that set up easy finishes.
• Effort plays: putback dunks and offensive-rebound finishes that come from simply outworking the other team.
• Shot-making: a three off a hard cut against CHI Prep.
