Dmitry Utolin

Dmitry Utolin has lived the exact journey FCP players are trying to make — just starting from farther away. He grew up in Moscow and played professionally for CSKA Moscow before crossing the world for American college basketball: Cuesta Junior College, then West Texas A&M University, then Lindsey Wilson College, where he earned All-Conference honors twice.

A new country, a new style of play, every level earned rather than given — that’s the same climb FCP athletes are on, and Utolin has already made it. After his playing career, he served as a graduate assistant at Cumberland University before joining Florida Coastal Prep.

Now in his third year at FCP, Utolin serves as Head Coach and Sports Performance Director, pairing his international playing experience with modern strength and conditioning methods to prepare athletes for the physical demands of college basketball.
