FCP Spartan Training Center — 14,000 sq ft basketball facility in Fort Walton Beach, Florida

Train at the Spartan Training Center

Every summer athlete trains daily in our 14,000 sq ft facility — professional hardwood court, turf performance zone, full weight room, and film room. The same facility used by FCP's post-graduate and high school programs year-round. No shared gym time. No waiting for court space. This is your training home for the summer.

NBA & D1 Coaching Staff

Summer athletes train under the same staff that runs FCP's full-year programs. Director Lee DeForest brings 25+ years of coaching and player development experience. NBA veteran Kenny Anderson leads individual skill sessions — handles, footwork, finishing, and decision-making at game speed. This is not a camp run by college students. Every session is coached by professionals with real experience developing players who went on to play at the college and professional level.

Live on the Emerald Coast

Summer athletes live in supervised beachside team housing in Fort Walton Beach — the same housing setup used by FCP's full-year programs. Live-in house coach, structured daily routines, and a focused environment designed for serious athletes. The Emerald Coast offers year-round sunshine, beach conditioning opportunities, and one of the safest communities in the Florida panhandle. Athletes train, compete, and recover in an environment built for development.

What Comes Next?

Many summer athletes use the FCP experience as a springboard into a full-year program. If you need more time to develop, improve academically, or maximize recruiting exposure, FCP offers two year-round pathways:

Post-Graduate Program

Ages 18-20. An extra year of basketball development, academics, and recruiting after high school graduation.

National High School Program

Grades 9-12. NCAA-approved coursework with AP classes and national basketball exposure.

Academics

Accredited college coursework and NCAA eligibility support.

Basketball Camps in Florida for Serious Athletes

Most basketball camps in Florida are recreational programs — fun for the weekend, forgotten by Monday. FCP's summer basketball camps are built differently. Based in Fort Walton Beach on Florida's Emerald Coast, every session combines daily training under former NBA and D1 coaches, real AAU tournament competition across the Gulf Coast, and direct exposure to college coaching staffs during NCAA evaluation periods. Athletes live in supervised team housing, eat provided meals, and train inside a 14,000 sq ft professional facility — the same one used by FCP's full-year programs year-round.

Why Florida for a Basketball Camp?

Florida produces more college basketball players than almost any other state. The year-round climate means year-round training, and the Gulf Coast recruiting circuit is one of the most active in the country. College coaches from D1, D2, NAIA, and JUCO programs routinely travel to Florida during NCAA live evaluation periods — which means competing here puts athletes directly in front of the decision-makers. FCP's location in Fort Walton Beach sits at the center of that circuit, within two hours of Panama City, Mobile, Gulf Shores, and Birmingham.

What Makes FCP's Summer Camp Different

The 2026 schedule covers 23 total tournaments across two sessions and three NCAA live evaluation windows — May 16–17, July 9–12, and July 16–19. July is when scholarship offers happen. FCP athletes aren't watching from the sidelines during those windows; they're competing in front of coaching staffs with coaches who have direct relationships at every level. Individual recruiting plans, professional highlight film, and personal introductions to college programs are part of the package — not an upsell.

Since 2019, FCP has developed athletes from 43 states and 22 countries. Alumni have earned scholarships in the SEC, Big East, Big Sky, Ohio Valley, D2, NAIA, and JUCO — and two have reached the NBA. For athletes who want to keep building after the summer, FCP's full-year post-graduate program and national high school program are direct pathways into year-round development on the Emerald Coast.

Where are the tournaments held?

All tournaments are held across the Gulf Coast region, within approximately two hours of Fort Walton Beach. Tournament locations include Panama City, Mobile, Gulf Shores, Foley, and Birmingham.
