About Lincoln Memorial University Basketball

Lincoln Memorial runs a possession-based system that rewards ball movement and spacing. Head Coach Jeremiah Samarrippas builds rosters that value perimeter shooting and defensive versatility, players who can switch assignments and stay disciplined in a South Atlantic Conference that demands both. The program targets guards with high basketball IQ and forwards who can operate in space rather than camp in the paint. This is a mid-major environment where consistency matters more than flash. LMU competes in a competitive SAC that includes programs with steady NCAA Tournament appearances, so minutes are earned through reliability: shooting efficiency, on-ball defense, and accepting defined roles. The team emphasizes floor spacing and three-point volume, making wings and stretch bigs particularly valuable. The typical LMU recruit is a technical player, someone who made high school all-conference, shoots above 35 percent from three, and doesn't need the ball constantly to be productive. If you're a role player who takes pride in defensive accountability and spacing the floor, this program fits. If you need isolation opportunities or high usage to showcase your game, look elsewhere. Harrogate offers a focused, low-distraction campus setting. Playing time is competitive, but the SAC is a legitimate platform for development and visibility to professional scouts. --- Players who arrive at college campus-ready, technically polished and physically prepared, get noticed faster. Florida Coastal Prep's post-graduate program in Fort Walton Beach, FL is built to close that gap. Learn more at floridacoastalprep.com or visit /apply/ to start the conversation.

D2 programs offer a compelling combination of competitive basketball and strong academics. Understanding the differences between D1, D2, and D3 helps you target the right fit, and coaches at this level respond well to personalized outreach using the right email approach.

What Recruits Should Know About South Atlantic Conference Recruiting

D2 programs in the South Atlantic Conference offer a balance of competitive basketball and academic opportunity. Coaches at this level recruit both locally and nationally, and they move quickly on players they evaluate. NCAA D2 athletic scholarships can be partial or full, and many programs package financial aid to make attendance financially feasible.

The D2 recruiting calendar runs parallel to D1 but with more flexibility. Lincoln Memorial University coaching staff evaluates prospects at regional and national tournaments, and they respond well to direct contact from players who have done their research on the program. Make sure your NCAA Eligibility Center account is active and your academic records are current before reaching out.

Strength and Conditioning for the D2 Level

Body development is one of the most overlooked factors in college recruiting. D2 coaches won't offer a player whose physical profile can't hold up to a 30-game college season. FCP's post-graduate program includes a dedicated strength and conditioning track that prepares players for the physical demands of college basketball, and shows up on film in ways that matter to coaches at programs like Lincoln Memorial University.

Our Spartan Training Center gives players access to professional-grade facilities and programming designed specifically for basketball performance at the college level. Apply to FCP and start building the physical foundation Lincoln Memorial University's coaches want to see.

Whether you're a current high school player exploring options through our high school program or a graduate looking for a post-grad year, FCP provides the coaching, competition, and college placement support to help you reach programs like Lincoln Memorial University.

FCP Has Helped Players Reach Every Level, Including D2

Our track record of placing players at D2 programs is built one athlete at a time. FCP alumni compete across the country at programs with the same standards as Lincoln Memorial University. Your path starts with applying and committing to the process.
