Corner pass to 2
Read the narration
Duke's screen-the-screener under-out. Two back screens for five as four gets set. Five cuts to the rim. Two comes off four to the corner. One passes to two for the corner shot.
Starting setup
1 has the ball on the baseline. 5 starts high in the middle, with 2 below 5 and 4 on the ballside. 3 stays spaced on the opposite side.
Teach the action
- 2 back screens for 5 while 4 sets the second screen.
- 5 cuts to the rim. Let 5 clear before 2 leaves the first screen.
- 2 uses 4 to reach the ballside corner. 3 holds the opposite side.
- 1 passes to 2 for the corner catch. The early pass to 5 is a separate read.
Coaching cue
Have 2 hold the back screen until 5 clears. Leaving early takes the first scoring threat out of the action.
