What was Post Grad Red’s trip to Itawamba Community College like? On Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2026, our Post Grad Red team played at Itawamba Community College (Indians) in Fulton, Mississippi. Head Coach Vando Becheli and Assistant Coach Ethan Worley led the group on the road. This post is a short recap of the experience, not a box score.
Director Lee DeForest puts Itawamba among the best junior college basketball programs in the country. We played them on their home court, and he said it was a good experience for our guys. He also expects the Indians to be one of the best teams Post Grad Red will face all season, which is exactly why we wanted that test early.

Why does a JUCO road game matter for post-grad players?
Junior college (JUCO) is a two-year college path where players compete, earn credits, and build film before many of them transfer to four-year schools. Programs like Itawamba run with college-level standards, facilities, and pace. When our post-grad basketball program schedules that kind of opponent on the road, the value is in the environment: travel, preparation, and competition against a program that lives in that world every day.
If you are mapping how JUCO fits the bigger picture, our guide to best JUCO basketball programs and the D1 pipeline is a helpful read alongside the post-grad schedule.
